Safety Hazards

At Jimenez and Son Electrical, we prioritize the safety of our customers and their homes. If you notice any of these, stay cautious, make sure you're not grounded, and try not to touch anything conductive surrounding the area. (F.E.: Metal, liquid, or other wires.) Call us immediately if you have potential hazards in your home.

Frayed Wires

Frayed wires should be discarded and replaced for your safety.

Overloaded Outlets

Avoid overloading electrical outlets with too many adapters or power strips, as this can cause sparks and potentially lead to a fire.

Live Wires

If you notice a live wire on the ground, please call a professional immediately. Do not try to touch or move the live wire yourself.

Lightning Storms

During severe lightning (electrical) storms, it's advised to use as few electric devices/appliances as possible. If you do notice an electric arc on the ceiling of your home, turn off any lights you have on.
